Are you looking for things to do while visiting San Francisco? The city has so much to offer - great museums like the SF MOMA and parks like the Golden Gate Park which include the Japanese Tea Gardens, Conservatory of Flowers and California Academy of Science. You can check out the famous neighborhoods of Fisherman’s Wharf, Haight-Ashbury and Chinatown. If shopping’s your thing, you can’t beat Union Square, and if you have a little time, make sure to schedule a tour of Alcatraz or take a short day trip to Sausalito. Of course, you can’t miss a chance to ride the city’s famous Cable Cars.

Looking for a place to eat while visiting San Francisco? There are a number of great restaurants in San Francisco that you should not miss and it is easy to make dinner reservations and read restaurant reviews at the website Open Table. This website gives you access to hundreds of great restaurants and will allow you to easily make reservations during your visit. Our conference week is a busy week in San Francisco with other large conferences happening - we highly recommend you plan accordingly and make reservations early. Please note: neighborhoods within walking distance of the Moscone and Host Hotel (Westin St. Francis and Marriott) are SOMA, Financial District and Union Square.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Ferries:  Ferries offer transport between San Francisco and cities located across the San Francisco Bay's waters. The San Francisco Bay Ferry provides weekday, weekend, holiday, and seasonal services to nine terminal locations around the Bay including Alameda, Oakland, and Vallejo. From San Francisco's Ferry Terminal riders can connect to surface and subway options taking them to Moscone Center.  Ferry Directions:  Ferries arrive in San Francisco at the Ferry Building. Walk through the Ferry Building and exit onto Embarcadero Boulevard. Cross the street to a streetcar platform. (You should now be facing the Ferry Building.) Catch the F-line streetcar and take it down Market Street to Third Street. Disembark. From Market Street, take Third Street and walk down two blocks. The facility is on your right, on either side of Howard Street. Moscone West is located at Fourth and Howard streets with a second entrance on Fourth Street between Howard and Mission Street.

Train:.
BART offers fast, convenient regional service and MUNI Metro provides light rail service throughout the City. To reach Moscone North & South, take BART or MUNI to Montgomery station. To reach Moscone West, take BART or MUNI to Powell station  
BART/MUNI Directions:  Disembark at the Powell Street Station. Exit to 4th and Market Streets. Turn right on 4th. Walk two blocks south to Howard and turn left. The Moscone Center is located on the 700 block of Howard Street. You'll find Moscone South on your right and Moscone North on your left. Moscone West is located at Fourth and Howard streets with a second entrance on Fourth Street between Howard and Mission.  

Caltrain offers a frequent schedule into the nearby station at 4th & Townsend Streets. All of these stations are within a few minutes' walk of The Moscone Center.
Caltrian Directions:  From the Caltrain Station (Fourth & Townsend). Across Fourth street from the train station, catch either the #30 or #45 lines. Get off at Third and Folsom. Walk one block North up towards Howard St. Turn left on Howard. The Moscone Center is located on the 700 block of Howard Street. You'll find Moscone South on your left and Moscone North on your right. Moscone West is located at Fourth and Howard streets with a second entrance on Fourth Street between Howard and Mission Street.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

From San Francisco International Airport
Exit airport "North on Interstate 101" then follow directions below. More information on ground access transportation to and from San Francisco International Airport.

North on Interstate 101 
Take 80 East. Then take the 4th Street Exit. Take a left on Bryant, a left on Third and a left on Howard. The Moscone Center is located on the 700 block of Howard Street. You'll find Moscone South on your left and Moscone North on your right. Moscone West is located at Fourth and Howard streets with a second entrance on Fourth Street between Howard and Mission Street.

Via the Bay Bridge Take the Fremont Street Exit to Howard Street and turn left on Howard. The Moscone Center is located on the 700 block of Howard Street. You'll find Moscone South on your left and Moscone North on your right. Moscone West is located at Fourth and Howard streets with a second entrance on Fourth Street between Howard and Mission Street.

Via the Golden Gate Bridge
Take the Lombard Street exit to Van Ness Avenue. Turn right on Van Ness. Travel south to Grove. This will be approximately two miles. Turn left on Grove Street. Continue to Market Street. Cross Market Street and travel south on 8th Street to Folsom. Turn left on Folsom, left on Third and left on Howard. The Moscone Center is located on the 700 block of Howard Street. You'll find Moscone South on your left and Moscone North on your right. Moscone West is located at Fourth and Howard streets with a second entrance on Fourth Street between Howard and Mission Street.
